AES-44A ''Stowell''
Etendard, A-4 Skyhawk, Delta wing thingy
-Description-
Back in the 1980's, a export market opportunity for low-cost, low-maintenance ground attack aircraft presented itself when many countries' stockpiles of 2nd and 3rd gen attack aircraft suffered from old airframes and rust. Providing a low-cost solution to this, Orion Industries produced the AES-44A ''Stowell'', a light and effective platform for countries that needed to fill the now-open gap in defense technology. The AES-44A can mount 3,300 pounds of ordinance, ranging from rocket pods, dumb and guided bombs, air to surface guided munitions, as well as IR-homing missiles like the AIM-9 for self defense. The aircraft comes equipped with two 30mm cannons, as well a camera/laser designator for guiding munitions.
