Description.

Falx, is a cutting-edge fire support vehicle, named after the historical curved blade used in ancient warfare, symbolizing its precision and lethality on the battlefield.

Equipped with a 125mm 1A30 smoothbore gun, reverse-engineered from the 2A45, with a barrel length of 5.8 meters, the Falx can engage targets effectively up to 3 kilometers away. The HE shells achieve a velocity of 900 m/s, making it more effective compared to the original 2A45's 760 m/s HE rounds. Its dimensions—4 meters high, 8.7 meters long, and 3.4 meters wide—allow for efficient operation. Equipped with thick and lightweight armor, this vehicle can withstand fire from 30mm to 40mm autocannons on the front side of the armor. This vehicle can be categorized as STANAG 4569 Level 6.

The Falx only uses two types of ammunition: High-Explosive (HE) and High-Explosive Fragmentation (HE-Frag). It requires only 2-3 crew members to operate. There are two crew configurations depending on the batch: the first batch features a manually operated turret, while the second batch is equipped with an unmanned turret to enhance crew survivability. Also it has spare ammo from 20 – 30 rounds inside the hull.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with two loitering munitions or kamikaze drones mounted on top for extended firepower and reconnaissance capabilities.

Designed for cross-country mobility, the Falx navigates rough terrains effectively. It features an AWD system and a turbo diesel V8 engine licensed from Scania, delivering 750 horsepower and a top speed of 97 km/h with a 900 km range.
