The ES-106 Delta Intruder is a single engine,double seated delta wing jamming aircraft.
Made using an already famous interceptor's airframe,The S-106 Delta Daggeraxe (coming soon) The Delta Intruder was the initial Electronic Warfare version of the S-106 used by the Wright Air Force.
DEVELOPMENT
In 1970,several S-106 we're turned into Delta Intruder after the Minister of Defense listing his tandem for a new Electronic Warfare aircraft. The Delta Daggeraxe at the time was getting a replacement and slowly being drawn out of service. The Defense Ministry's idea on turning Delta Daggeraxe into an electronic warfare aircraft began with them acquiring EW tech from the US.
DESIGN
The initial missile bay were removed and was replaced with jamming equipment and computer inside it. It was also equipped with chaff countermeasures if bad things happened.
