RAE AH-1 "Guardian"
After a bit of help from @Shmexysmpilot and @jamesPLANESii I managed to complete this attack heli, making use of the new gyro. This is my first heli so it won't be the best in terms of performance so please give me some suggestions so I can improve my heli builds. I had lots of fun building this so expect more helis in the future!
And yes, the front part is from my E-24.
Also i have no idea what that pointy thing on the left is but it looks cool so I left it there lol
SOME BORING DESC
RAE noticed the huge amount of helicopters flooding the market due to the new part known as the "gyroscope", which reportedly made building stuff like helicopters a lot more easier. RAE decided to join the fray and try their luck in helicopters. Our engineers bought a gyroscope and the building phase of the new helicopter started. Although imperfect, the Guardian had satisfactory performance during flight tests. It has a generous weapons load. All in all, it is a good all around attack heli, although its a bit slow.
Armament:
2x 23mm gunpods (2 guns per pod)
2x rocket pod (7 rockets each)
4x Inferno air to ground missiles in dual mounts
Controls/Instructions:
AG1- gun activation
AG2- navigation lights
Gear- landing gear
VTOL- does nothing, idk why the slider is there
- This is my first heli build so don't expect it to fly well.
- Yaw is a bit bad and it might spin on its own
Thanks and have a safe flight!
PS. i might upload a propeller race plane next week.
