The Su-27M2 is a mid 1990s era modernization of the Su-27 in service with the Kirvazi Republic Air Force (KRAF). The Modernization Program was the first joint effort between the Democratic Kirvazi Republic (DKR) and the United Arkwritian Republic (UAR) after the fall of the previous Kirvazi Fundamentalist Regime in 1991. The upgrades in the program included new avionics with NATO compatibility and capability to use many new weapons systems such as the Arkwritian AAM-7 Viper II and later the Russian R-77 Adder. It also included the replacement of the previous GSh-30-1 with a new M244 25mm autocannon. These Upgrades were made by the Kirvazi Air Force in an effort to make their old Su-27s conform to NATO standards, with plans for further upgrades in the future.
