EFR-109-E "The Red Baron"
This jet is, or was once a EFS-109 "Highwinder". Her pilot, who graduated top of his class, was given choice of what ship he'd pilot. But disolutioned with then Germany's state of the art big and heavy multirole fighter, so he had his ship modified extensivly. now much smaller, narrower, and better armed, his jet was much more capable in dogfights against America's P-300s. The Head of the Germany airforce were so empressed with his modifications that his ship became the new standard air supiriority fighter, bringing about the birth of the EFR-109. Though the EFS-109 was still kept in service as the navy's choice multirole aircraft.
