C-52 Boxcar

Designed as a simple, no nonsense cargo hauler the C-52 was designed when it became clear that other aircraft were ill suited for the task. Whilst most certainly ugly the aircraft more than makes up for that in capacity, being rated to carry more tonnage than the empty weight of the plane. These aircraft were generally kept for company use, but some did filter into the hands of the public, with 1 being on display in a museum and several others still flying. However, when the C-88 Bertha finished development the Boxcar was retired, with the majority cut up for scrap. 1 for parachutes.

@JamesBoA oddly enough I only did that because it was easier and simpler. And I gotta say it shows. This would've exceeded 100 parts if I used blocks
