a friend of mines dad is extensively involved in the development of the f35 and he says its highly underrated because no one has seen what it can do in combat @XVIdarkLithium

@Matthew240 the helment alone is 400k, the development 1 trillion, the plane itself is 100m, plagued by glitches and development flaws, the f117 nighthawk/seahawk was so much better for the role, a true stealth jet.
Yeah that's true but stealth is the future and at the moment it costs one fourth of an f22 so it's a lot more economical @XVIdarkLithium
