this is the kreder k-3 light fighter-interceptor

history

The kreder k-3 is a light fighter-interceptor first designed in 1935 for the checkered republic air corps. It was designed to be a fast, maneuverable, and powerful aircraft capable of defeating any plane that crosses the border. By the time it was entered into service ww2 was ramping up and some were sent the their allies in Britain, but many stayed in the checkered republic. The success of the plane was not as intended and with the BF-109s that the k-3 was facing many were often out maneuvered and not as capable as the German fighter. Eventually tactics were created and the success rate slowly moved to the k-3s favor.
