fictionalllll The 177th Squadron was a Sept-Etaps squadron that used Bell P8 Rattlesnakes. These arrived in 1950, replacing the L1.01 Warrior’s that the squadron had previously used. This squadron took 8 kills: 1 E125 Wulf, 3 Valgren’s, a Platypuz, a Fireworm bomber and 2 E4 Biplanes. Based in the North of the country, they were sometimes hsed as bmber escorts. One of them was lost in 1953 when it was hit by a E140 Hauss. The other 4 survived the war, only to be replaced with Comet jets.
