Colt-Rocker M16A5 TACMOD
The M16A5 TACMOD is a variant of the M16A5 assault rifle with the ability to accept Picatinny rail accessories. In the C&C Roleplay, the M16A5 is considered one of the premier assault rifles available. A lightweight, inexpensive, accurate, and powerful weapon, it takes advantage of modern material sciences and 3D printing that the Eugene Stoner could not have imagined. With 80% of its components made of polymers, it is incredibly lightweight, being 38% lighter than its predecessors. The ammunition case incorporates polymers as well, making them 25% lighter than previous cases. It achieves this without sacrificing durability. The M16A5 stock is modeled after the M16A2 stock, except that it is telescoping, thus providing the ergonomics of the M16A2 stock with the compactness of the M4 stock. The weapon was very popular with soldiers. While the plastic construction reinforced the common nickname "Mattel-16" regarding the rifle, it proved that it was anyting but a toy. It proved that even after 50 years, the M16 is the gold standard of assault rifles.
