A Pummeler Recce Mk 1 with the Mk 2 Airframe upgrade and revised to fit its new role as a forward air control aircraft. For this role, its sensors were moved to a fixed centerline pod to make room for a cockpit extension. This would accomodate an observer, who would be in charge of directing air strikes in coordination with ground units. To assist with targeting, it has an electronic targeting relay as well as six smoke rockets in order to visually mark the target. To allow pilots and troops to identify the FAC, it has orange wingtips, earning them the nickname "Orange Tips" among pilots and soldiers. The use of these aircraft led to increased coordination between ground forces and air support, allowing them to hit priority targets with greater speed and efficiency.
