Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

Give me fuel - Give me fire - Give me that which I desire!
Thank you everyone for helping me reach 9k points!
This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon!
It is powered by a 6.2 Litre V8 with a 2.7 Litre twin screw supercharger making 840 horsepower and 770 pound feet of torque.
This car can launch to 60 in 2.3 seconds! Thats quick enough to make a Bugatti Chiron look sluggish. It finishes the quarter mile in 9.65 seconds, so fast that the NHRA banned it from competition. The exterior features a widebody kit to compensate for wider tires as well as a massive hood intake to feed the supercharger.

@aircraftarsenal123 The same engine is also used in the new Ford Focus RS, which shares the same chassis as my mazda 3, the Ford C1 platform.

Really?! I wouldn't have imagined a Mazda engine in a mustang. Nothing against Mazda, just unexpected @FasterThanLight

@aircraftarsenal123 What I don't understand is that the brand new 4 banger mustang has the same engine in my 2009 Mazda 3! Identical block, but it features forged internals, a new valve train system, new intake/exhaust manifolds and a twin scroll turbocharger. The both displace 2.3Litres with Direct fuel injection! It could make for an easy swap if I could find one cheap.

@aircraftarsenal123 True, there are drag specific packages for the Camaro such as the Copo Camaro, or Fords Mustang Cobra Jet, but neither of them are street legal.

Well, either way. You see plenty of camaros (mostly from the factory) on drag strips, but mustangs are pretty rare @RedHawk

I don't know about ford... They haven't necessarily made any real muscle cars through the generations. Mostly pony cars. I would love to see the Mustang line-up organized like the camaro. The top of the line being the ZL1 1LE, and GT500 for the mustang. Then down to the standard version. Then a completely separate branch for drag racing. That would be amazing @FasterThanLight

@FasterThanLight dodge has actually used transmission brakes in previous years, mainly on trucks I believe... anyways incredible job! Looks absolutely awesome!
I don't count the Hennessey exorcist camaro as a competitor to this cause it's not factory, and Ford is bringing up a new gt350(??I think that's right... I don't keep up with Ford at all)

@aircraftarsenal123 GM certainly wants to compete with Dodge. Only good things can come from this rivalry. As for Ford... I have no clue.
