DLA F-13 'Alpaca'

104k Dllama4  6.7 years ago

Note:

This is my first serious plane build in a while, so please don't go crazy about something that I may have done incorrectly. Knowing me, I don't make planes, so I'm pretty proud of it. I also started building it 8 months ago...

Credit:

•BogdanX - He fixed a problem with the COM and COL. He also made it fly.
•EternalDarkness - He helped me design the plane and guided me through the building process.
•Othawne - He made it flew better and gave me the fancy engine nozzles. He also tested the plane when it was near completion.
•ShatSlanger - He fixed several problems with the landing gear.
•Tully2001 - He fixed some takeoff problems.
•Dllama4 - He didn’t really do anything, but it’s okay...

Instructions:

•AG1 - Drogue Parachute
•AG2 - Afterburner (Disable when trying to stop)
•AG3 - Formation Lights (Sorry, they aren’t very realistic)
•Fly it like any normal plane :)

Features:

•Powerful 20mm gatling gun with casing ejection (from BogdanX)
•Custom control surfaces thanks to BogdanX
Fancy engine nozzles from Othawne
•Custom landing gear (I've never done custom gear before)
•Smooth shape
•Details

Description:

The Dllama Aerospace industries ‘Alpaca’ is a twin engine 4++ generation fighter with carrier capabilities. It was designed as a replacement for the aging DLA-27 ‘Assailer’ fighter’s that were being used by the DAF. It has the latest D.Corp AESA radar along with new advanced targeting systems for both land and air targets. The carrier capable version, the ‘Stork’ is equipped with an arrester hook, a catapult catapult hook, and other sensors to ensure safety when landing on carriers. The fighter is also mainly composed of composite materials which make it lighter and low observable on radar. Another feature which adds to its somewhat low radar cross section is its supercruise abilities, which allow the fighter to travel at supersonic speeds without the use of its afterburner.
