SlowBird (Without Propulsion Challenge)
This is my entry for Jorgebr's "Without Propulsion Challenge."
Takeoff and fly without engines. Be free to hear yourself think (thoughts like "I really should've put an engine in this thing. So many regrets...") and listen to the sounds of crashi--I mean nature.
Slow and steady wins the race (the race to relaxation!) says the SlowBird!
To fly:
1. Start the propeller spinning by activating the VTOL slider in the UPWARDS direction so that the prop spins CLOCKWISE when viewed from the cockpit. BE CAREFUL! DO NOT MOVE SLIDER TO 100% OR IT WILL EXPLODE. 90% should be sufficient. Now, don't touch it anymore.
2. The KEY is to build up speed slowly. Increase the throttle to 15% to start rolling, and slowly increase to 35%.
The plane will liftoff on its own. Increase throttle to 85% for cruise.
3. Fly like a mostly normal plane
Takeoff speed: ~25mph
Cruise speed: ~45mph
