This plane is starting to become more trouble than its worth. To appreciate what I'm saying, take this plane up to about 7000 ft. Then cruise along with the throttle at 100% After gaining some speed, jerk the control stick down and to the left and wait until the planes nose points down and the thing starts spinning out of control. I can't get it to quit doing that. I'm almost positive it has something to do with the control surfaces but I can't find out what. Somebody please help get this plane more stable!

8,903 Garuda1ITalisman@Karlosdarkness @Shmexysmpilot @maoxukun1994 @jheffernan jheffernan was closest. I'm building a new jet and decided to try a theory I had been working on. I flew the jet without modded parts and it flew fine. Even when I jerked the joystick. After I added modded engines however, the death roll came back. Looks like you're trying to poison my aircraft, eh karlosdarkness? Just kidding, I'm having loads of fun with those parts9.3 years ago

8,104 LofiTurtleI've seen this before in some other planes, but never this bad. for starters I removed the dihedral in the tail wings which makes the roll easy to recover from. But with the amount of pitch and the CoM being below the CoL. When you pitch down the CoM wants to go up and the plane spins around like that. So either raise the CoM a little bit or remove some control surfaces and it should fly better9.3 years ago

17.4k karlosdarknessI recovered it, shut the throttle steer into the flip and open the throttle once the flip is slowing. That said it's prone to structural failure near the cockpit in this sort of extreme manoeuvre so best avoided. Reduce the size of the elevators would be my first suggestion or lengthen the fuselage would be the second option.9.3 years ago
