FE-104F
FE-104 fighter, trim F
Equipped with takeoff gear to ensure the bomb clears the ground. Press 1 to eject it.
Despite being an engineering pinnacle, legions of 109s were falling prey to the Pummeler Mk.2 fighter. Stumped, engineers studied a wrecked Pummeler for weeks. The end result was a new plane, made lighter and faster than anything they had tried before. The XFE-104 first flew in June, 1943, and was accepted a month later as a short range fighter. The plane was small and light, but still easy prey. The final revelation came when the 1000 hp V8 was swapped for a 2000 hp radial in the F trim carrier bomber, creating speeds up to 550 mph. With this plane, the Pummeler finally became mortal.
Armament:
2x .50 machine guns
1x 500lbs bomb
Thanks to @Pilotmario for making the Pummeler Mk.2, which I studied for only days, not weeks.
As a side note, I attempted to make this plane as realistic as possible. I tried to make the loaded and empty weights as close to a Bf109 as possible. Why a Bf109? No clue. First one to pop in my head at the time.
And I still forgot exhausts.
