Ack Island Fighter Plane designs #1 “woody”

This wood and canvas based aircraft is a very unstable fighter. Due to its usually cheap construction the woody class biplane usually colapses when high G manuvers are attempted. Due to the short runways of ack island most users of this biplane tend to put a detachable cart on the back of the plane to guide it untill the plane reaches a stable takeoff speed to rotate.

Here’s some history on the design:
In 1991 private military groups relied on slow, unstable, and crudely made autogyros (and even some custom planes built by pilots who like to build and experiment with parts from various vehicles) they needed a cheap and affordable lend lease vehicle to use against opposing forces. A wolf island aircraft company called forester engineering came up with something to fit the need of those groups and made a biplane that they named the FE-D0921 or “Woody” for short. It was made from the cheapest wood available in wolf island and was usually equipped with M1919 browning machine guns or AK-47s with ropes attached to their triggers and drum magazines. Only 1203 were built with 43 of them being built with metal construction. They saw lots of in ack island until 300 were shot down by arctican jets in late 2014 during the failed invasion of Ack island.

This variation is the 2nd most common out of the 3 export fighters. As it was really cheap to import
