USAF stated that SR71 sightings by commercial pilots were "unidentified". Model goes 3,000 mph @ 100,000 (this is a modded SP thing, not a replica). Still, fun to fly!

50.4k StingrayThis one flys gently, but is not a replica. I've built a replica, and it's a beast to handle, just a heads up. @nickasaurusrex9.2 years ago

16.2k LordofLegoThat's not a whole lot bigger, but it looks like a good scale. Hopefully yours looks better, though!9.3 years ago

16.2k LordofLego@Stingray What are you going to change?9.3 years ago
-
50.4k StingrayOK, but I'm going to rebuild this entire plane from scratch anyway, and it will not look like this one. @LordofLego9.3 years ago
-
16.2k LordofLegoYou could have put in the engines but not the nozzles. Then you could have your ballast and if you used modded large engines, you could have kept the speed and the diamond exhaust.9.3 years ago
-
50.4k StingrayThanks @LordofLego You're partly right, but this very simple& sturdy artistic rendering (not a true replica) needed ballast where I put the VTOL.9.3 years ago
-
16.2k LordofLegoCool, but you should have left off the VTOL and used modded large engines.9.3 years ago
