F/A-19 "Grey Owl"
The F/A-19 Grey Owl is a single seat, twin engine, stealth heavy fighter/ ground attack aircraft, developed for the United States Airforce (USAF). The aircraft was developed in secret, alongside the YF-22 and YF-23 fighters. Its intended purpose was to serve as a more dedicated ground attack fighter, essentially becoming a more advanced version(and replacement) of the A-10 and F-111.
The F/A-19 featured nearly five times the internal weapon capacity(by weight) of an F-22 and could carry more on attachable pylons on the wings(for true ground attack missions). It was optimized to minimize it's radar cross-section against near-field radar, since it would be flying at medium to low altitudes most of the time. Despite this, it also had all-aspect stealth, granted, not nearly as good as the F-22.
The project was ultimately cancelled in the December of 1990, due to unknown reasons. It was, however, later discovered that 50 F/A-19(in total) were ordered by the United States Navy and the United States Airforce. The reason for this is also unknown.
Design
The Grey Owl was an relatively slow plane, with a top speed(at 5000m) of just Mach 1.0. This was due to the drag caused by the enlarged fuselage. The inlets we're moved up(instead of the traditional position), to have a larger internal volume for equipment and weapons, as well as to provide a greater volume of air to the engines(as the engines were modified to be highly efficient w/o sacrificing power). The larger volume also gave it better range, as it could carry quite a lot of fuel (in internal tanks).
The electronics, such as radar, infrared and others, we're more effective than that of an F-22. It even has a laser designator(which is flush with one of the cheeks of the cockpit). It had a 360 Radar and Infrared sensor range, with sensors all over it's fuselage. This allowed it to better detect ground targets, as well as enemy aircraft which might intercept it.

Cockpit
For the Digital(not really) Bomb Sight, select a target, and then drop the bomb if the circle is over the crosshairs

SOO there you go folks, my first, kinda successful aircraft deign. I designed this thing from pretty much scratch. It's supposed to be realistic and all, but I'm not sure on that. Anyway, I really enjoyed making this and I learned a lot. Hopefully I can use that so my future designs will be less janky.
Also, here are some pics
Also, also, I'm gonna make a variant of this that has a weapon that I made. If your on discord(SPBC), you might have heard me mention it. But that's for another time.

Also, yea, I agree, it is very chonki, and flies like seagull xDDD
@DarDragon Thank you very much!! Your creations are very nice!
@mikoyanster Oooh thanks! Sure, I'll join. Btw, I'm also joining your Counter Terrorist challenge.
You are invited to participate in the 1st Jetfighter Challenge! Your creations have the level to participate, please take a look. Thank you
Looking at the second and third side-views in airplane specs... chonk
@DarDragon No problem!
This is beyond simpleplanes
Really nice build man!
Jesus Christ. This is quite exquisite. Very well done.
@DarDragon and I already lost the stealth challenge ever since the F-117 was posted :')
@DarDragon fr tho this thing is awesome I can't even run it it's on 1000 parts lol
@Northsoutheastthrop Nooo don't lose hope man. Your jet is pretty cool too!
I have officially lost hope in winning the stealth challenge
@DarDragon I know that but that's what's mysterious.
@dTitanplanesb actually, the designation F-19 has not been used, leading some to speculate that it was an experimental aircraft being developed in secret. So there's really no such thing as an F-19, officially
The real F-19 is rather mysterious.
@banbantheman Thanks!
@Potkuri Yea, it doesn't really handle well, partly because it's very thicc xD. It's like, really heavy
It doesn’t handle all that well to me but this plane has looks and some cool high-tech built-in. Stuff I understand nothing about.
magnificent, absolutely fantastic
@tsampoy @F104Deathtrap Thanks guys!
@BroAeronautics Thanks! I intentionally made it like that because I found that at low to moderate speeds, rolling would sometimes make the plane pitch up and stall
Great plane! My only criticism is when roll input is given the control surfaces on the horizontal stabilizer both move in the same direction as each other
Totally awesome
The cockpit is very simple but yet complex at the same time. I like it
