Summary
The F-45 Barracuda is a Paternian 5th generation strike fighter designed and manufactured by KRIEG. Capable of carrying over 15,000lbs of ordnance across 10 possible hardpoints (5,500 lbs of ordnance across six hardpoints if all ordnance is internally held) with an effective combat radius of 550 nautical miles, it has quite a potent bite with its reach. Its performance isn't lacking either; capable of cruising at 900 knots without afterburner, dashing at 1,300 knots with afterburners, and a thrust/weight ratio of over 1 in combat conditions, it isn't a slouch
However, the F-45's greatest asset is neither its firepower nor its performance, but its avionics. Most prominent among these is the Combat Unit Management System and the associated AN/AYK-205B Data Processor. This gives it unprecedented coordination not only with tactical units, but also with logistical elements thanks to its excellent self-diagnostic system that minimizes the need for regular parts changes.
In addition, the powerful Dragon Systems AN/ASQ-192 multifunction AESA radar gives it the ability to function as a miniature AEW platform. This, combined with the stealthy design, CUMS and AN/AYK-205B, give the F-45 unprecedented potential for any combat type. It may not be the fastest or most heavily armed fighter, but it has the ability to ensure that when a fight begins, it will fire the first, and last shot.
Variants
There are three principal variants of the F-45.
F-45C Barracuda
The CTOL variant for use with the Paternian Air Force.
F-45CN Sea Barracuda
The CATOBAR variant for use with the Paternian Navy’s Paternia-class supercarriers. Main distinctions are the presence of arrestor gear assembly inside the aircraft and landing assistance systems.
F-45D Barracuda
The V/STOL variant for use with the Paternian Marine Corps and the Paternian Navy for use with the Ocean-class light carrier. Modifications are airframe-wide, including the installation of a lift-fan system and additional coding in the autopilot to assist with VTOL operation.

Ah that makes sense :-) @Pilotmario
@Aeroman77 Thanks!
@JED It's basically an F-35 clone.
Pretty Nice, looks exactly like the F-35 though :-) :-)
Thanks! @Carbonfox1
Slick as hell
@ErvenDynamics Of course. It's not a Paternian stealth jet without drop tanks.
