B-90 Sarov
Project 20120 Sargan
Intelligence and Weapon Testing Submarine
Based on the Kilo Class, the Sarov is unique in its hybrid power system. Combining a conventional Diesel Electric propulsion system with a small nuclear reactor to provide power. Although not confirmed by russian officials it is believed to be an intelligence submarine as well as its more infamous role as a testing platform for the Status-6 Nuclear Torpedo.
Largely a quick build I made to fulfill a request I accepted a while ago. Came out pretty well in the end, and it has quite the boom so you better handle it with caution! Thinking next time I'll do another ship, likely American, but for now have a good Valentines Day!
