BBR
Weapon's description:
The BBR (Stand for Budushchaya Boyevaya Raketa, means Future Combat Missile) is a next-gen long range air-to-air missile developed by Vympel NPO. It's a long-range hypersonic missile with a powerful warhead, capable of destroying any aircraft it's aimed at. It has a top speed of Mach 5.2 and an operational range from 5km to 400km. It has a very distinctive appearance, it has checkered paint job and instead of control surfaces, the missile is entirely controlled by thrust vectoring nozzles, allowing it to even shoot down impossible targets like satellites. It also has a complex guidance system that can be infrared or radar guided depend on its target: if the target emits heat, it will uses infrared guidance, if there's no heat, it will uses radar homing. Around 20 are made, during the Broken Border incident, 2 of them are carried by Sanae in her boss fight. The missile doesn't appear anytime again till the end of the incident.
The missile is infrared guided in SimplePlanes.
Free to use, feel free to put it on your builds.
Subassembly instruction:
The detachers are visible from outside so take whichever you like, drag it into subassembly, the entire missile will go with it.
*When connecting it to your plane, make sure no part other than the detacher is connected, otherwise it will stuck to your plane. If you have XML, you can scale the detacher down for it to be hidden inside the missile.
*The engines inside of the missiles have these funky input: ammo("BBR") = 0; ammo("BBR") < 2. These inputs make the engines ignite when released, based on the number of ammo you have on the plane. You can put as many as you want on your plane, when testing, mark the dropping order and change number for them to work properly, every other ones must use the second input, but the last one drop must have the first input mentioned above.
Missile goes YEET.
