Mi-37 Locust

31.2k SlimSimpy  6.4 years ago

Pronunciation

The writing on the side is Russian for Locust, it is pronounced sarancha

Backstory

The Russians have had their eye on America for a while. As our military grows in scale, they grow more concerned about the safety of their country. A spy working for the Russian government managed to get ahold of plans for the Apache helicopter, and smuggled them back to Moscow. There he met with high ranking government officials and handed over the plans. The Russians were intrigued and decided to build their own variation.

The year is now 2024, 2 years, 7 months, and 9 days after the plans were stolen this new variation was put into mass production, and soon into service.

Flight Controls

Throttle to start up engine, and 52% throttle to ascend, anything higher creates a major ascent.
VTOL up or down for forward and backward movement.
Roll for slow turn
Pitch for pitch
Yaw for quick turn (a lil touchy)
Roll+Pitch for cool maneuvers
Yaw+Pitch for dangerous maneuvers
Trim to turn sensor and 35mm triple barrel minigun.
Gear for gear (duh)

Weaponry

6 Cleaver cruise missiles
14 Rockets
35mm triple barrel minigun, explosive rounds (Credit to RodWan)

Landing

Anything below 51% to descend, extract gear, once barely above the ground cut throttle completely.

Enjoy guys!
