(22/11/2021) Challenge entries are being judged.
Welcome To the meeting room.
Let's begin.
Your task is to design a new aircraft that has the capabilities to be used in a Medevac/Air Ambulance role, whether that be for the Military or Civilians. You can design it how you like, as long it follows the rules.
You have two months to come up with a design, good luck.
Rules:
- Your entry can have 1 to 4 engines, but these aircraft typically only have 2 at most (it's up to you).
- You can use Piston, Turboprop or Jet propulsion.
- You can design either a Plane, Tilt-rotor or Helicopter.
- Your entry can have any livery, as long as there is something on it to identify it as a Medical Aircraft, unless it is military operated.
- No unlimited fuel.
Be realistic on the performance. No spaceships or straight-up ridiculous entries.
The part count must be no less than 250, but no more than 1100.
- You can have up to 2 entries.
- Entries can be either a replica or fictional.
- Your entries must be able to fly, no ground vehicles or aircraft that are full of lead.
- Entries must be an original creation and must not be a recycled build (One you've already made at a previous time).
- Entries must have a description that has controls listed.
- Entries must be a successor of this post. If you are unable to do this, please tag me (or maybe a Moderator will be nice to you and make it a successor).
- Of course, XML modding (Overload mod) is allowed.
- No Mod parts.
Judging:
I will be judging each entry out of 10 based on:
-Design
The design of your build, the accuracy of replicas and the creativity of fictional builds.
-Performance
Speed, manoeuvrability, etc.
-Detail
The paint scheme, decals, etc.
-Build quality
The quality of the build.
-My impressions
Exactly what it says.
-Presentation
The thumbnail, description, images in said description and so on.
I judge each entry separately, including multiple entries from one user. Meaning if you submit more than one entry, they are judged like they are from two separate users.
Deadline is 20th November, 2021!
Rewards:
1st place: 20 upvotes
2nd place: 12 upvotes
3rd place: 9 upvotes
-Each entry gets one upvote
-If it's a collaboration project (Make sure I know this), the builders will share the reward.
Have fun!
Example aircraft include:

@TatsuTheOtaku
Go for it. You have a valid reason, so I'll accept it.
@FeatherWing Hey i didnt post it yesterday because of a region wide blackout, can I still post it?
she is done
Seem good to try,well sorry if it bad,im not really good at building
@LeonardorHD1
Well, you can have a build that's below the part count, but depending on how much it's below the minimum requirement, it will get either a big point reduction (that also depends on how many parts it is below the minimum, I'll decide) or a disqualification if it's well below the minimum.
@LeonardorHD1 sucks for you hehe
.
Kidding lol. Now that the update is out, put some love into it! I bet you can make something cool
Y 250 tho I am not that on precision
So can I not 250?
@FeatherWing okay, thanks. I just wanted to make sure
@LieutenantSOT
Yes.
@FeatherWing 1.11 is allowed, right?
@LieutenantSOT
Probably a good idea if you're entering.
I'm gonna need to start working on this...
let me think about this first
almost done
Huh interesting @Sparky6004
@LaunchAttempt it’s not really replacements in the Army, it’s an addition to their arsenal.
But yeah the marines might be switching certain helo’s
For the army it appears to be the replacement yeah, but this is the first time I’d heard about it @Sparky6004
@LaunchAttempt aren’t they switching to the UH-72 soon in certain squadrons?
Maybe for the army, but the marines use it as a medvac with a stock aircraft and med gear in the back @Sparky6004
@LaunchAttempt V-22 isn’t a designated medical transport
HH-60 and UH-60A(Med) is for those.
You almost never see a V-22 stopping by picking up wounded unless it’s a full on combat retreat
@Sparky6004
Both aircraft can undertake Medical Evacuation, it's jus not their primary role or, I presume, not what they were initially designed for.
Just look at their wiki's.
@Sparky6004 the V-22 is used as medvac tilt rotor in combat by the US
Wait
Wha
The C-17 isn’t a lifeline? Nor is a V-22? what kind of logic is that?
The C-17 can be transfigured into a Flying Hospital but not emergency medical transport in that circumstance.
Mines is almost done fictional
I dont have skills on replica
