Development and history

Designed under the Gunship Helicopter Project, it was meant to be hard to detect by radar, however this project was unfortunately shut down because of the contra-rotating propellers does not allow for proper yaw movement.
After a few years, it was restarted as a civilian transport and would be developed and loved by civilian pilots.

the civilian helicopter

Meant to be used by civilians, the Civilian Utility Helicopter was revealed at the year of 1965. During its announcement the Karyan civilians finaly purchase helicopters. It featured contra-rotating rotors but the yaw movement was greatly reduced. The CUH 165 could carry 12 passengers, two in the cockpit qrea, and ten in the passenger compartment, in addition to the great passenger capacity it can carry 2 tons of extra equipment.

Military usage

Despite being a light transport for use by civilians, the Karyan Defence Fleet purchased 6 of the helicopters. It was greatly used as VIP transports, and submarine hunters. The biggest problem is tge lack of armor, but this is not as needed because it is not meant to go near enemy ships and would often be targeted by SAMs. The civilian version and the military version both featured counter measure to defend to such threats.

This is my fist time designing and posting a helicopter with contra-rotating propellers. So please give me advince on how I can improve my builds whenever im building helicopters.
