The E3S Offshore is a new development by the U.S. Navy. Due to increasing upkeep cost on the Navy’s E2 Hawkeyes, and C2 Greyhounds, the Navy decided to combine the two to form the E3S, Which can be used for Aerial Reconnasince, Airborne Early Warning, or cargo transport.
