In 2012, The German Branch of the ZacSmir Aviation Industry wanted a Interceptor Drone.
So they had the idea of having it's design just like or exactly like the Me-163 Komet.
In 2015, The Development and Design of the Interceptor Drone was finished.
The plane is armed with 6x AAM-22 Tagger Missiles.
And has a Countermeasure System.
In 2018 to 2020, More than 32,000~ ZSG-88s were produced and delivered to countries like the Republic of China (Taiwan), Syria and South Korea.
Taiwan redesignated it as Type 88 "Firefly".
