B-17 G "Chowhound" (Integrated Turret System Testbed)

5,487 nafeij  4.6 years ago

This is an example of what is possible with my Integrated Turret System. This lovely Flying Fortress by @ProcessedPlAnEs has had all its turrets and gun mounts reprogrammed with funky tree magic, alongside other minor modifications. Control all turrets simultaneously to rain hell on overly brave German aircraft.

  • Activate1

    1. Activates turrets. Aim with Roll and Pitch (mouse as joystick)

    2. Disables Pitch/Roll inputs for control surfaces. Trim will trim Pitch, VTOL will trim Roll.

  • Activate2 will open bomb bay doors
  • Activate8 for lights
  • Brake key activates airbrakes

There are cameras and sights for each gun emplacement (forgot the top-middle one in the radio compartment :P), as well as for the bombardier position.

P.S. - First person to beat the WW2 Dogfight combat mission in this thing gets three internet points.
