Just press Activate 2 to perform cobra at any speed. Preferrably fast but, doesn't have to be too fast. Activate 2 again when finished with the nose up manuver and go back to flight as usual. AG1 Flaps, AG3 Tailhook AG4-5 Dumb Missles.

MiG-29 with single engine is a nice concept tbh.
I think maybe hovering cobra as you intend is more dramatic that an original cobra lol.
I don't think my MiG-29 mk.2 can do hover cobra because it has no thrust vectoring, my MiG-29 mk.1 sort of doing hovering cobra but at far lower aoa to be called cobra and any higher aoa will risk flipping out T-T.
My first instant cobra does hovering cobra but that plane has all the luxury (thrust vectoring, fly by wire, high thrust/weight, etc.), I created my MiG just because I want to do cobra the old way lol.

@GuyFolk Well as you can see my plane is a successor so not my original design. I wanted something like the MIG-29 Fulcrum but, single engine to cut down on the part count so I can use it in Multi-Player.
I know it's not realistic but, I wanted that dramatic effect so you could really tell.
I like the Funky Tree's approach you used. I love how the flight control surfaces auto adjust. That makes it more like a modern 5th gen fighter which uses the computer to control the flight control surfaces.
My rear flight control surfaces start going crazy at very high speed. If you didn't notice I have an Afterburner set to Activate 3 I believe it is.

I tried it and I think this is good enough for auto cobra without funky tree. Nice work.
The look is good especially afterburner, I like it.
About the cobra,I like your approach which you just use "super airbrake" to suddenly slow down and pitch up hard and use gyro to keep the plane from flipping. Look a bit unnatural but it get the job done lol.
Mine was using just aerodynamic so it will be some limitation here and there because Cobra is hard to perform irl and moreover it need a plane to have some certain quality.
