@PyrusEnderhunter I never said they similar internals but they serve a similar purpose. Fire larger rounds then a sub machine gun and be able to be carried and fired. In that way they are similar. Also same place that thinks aliens built the pyramids.

@MrDoolittle 'bout time u responded. However, the AK-47 uses a different round (7.62 Tukerov I think) and has one of the most simplicity designs that an assault rifle could have.

@PyrusEnderhunter they both have banana mags, a front sight that juts up on the end of the barrel, wooden stocks with semi similar shape, pistol grip, and fire much larger rounds then a sub machine guns at the same fire rate but is still light enough to be carried and fired. I rest my case.

@MrDoolittle now that I think of it, the AK-47 stock is different in appearance to the STG-44.
