Tucker Mud Bogger
The Tucker Mud Bogger is a rather unique example of a custom built off-roader, as it is rebuilt from a 1950's Tucker Sno-Cat. The carbody and hydraulic bogie steering are retained from the original Sno-Cat, but the track pontoons were removed in favor of 8 large mud tires with walking arm suspension, making this former arctic explorer into a beast of a rock crawler. The original engine has been replaced with an 800 horsepower V8, and the original transmission has been replaced by a 5 speed automatic gearbox. The engine and gearbox combo allow this machine to drive up almost 60 degree vertical inclines with ease, and the walking arm suspension will only high center in the most extreme of circumstances. If anything goes wrong while out on an expedition, there are 30 emergency flares mounted to the roof above the driver's seat, and plenty of supplies on board to help with almost any problem you might encounter.
Controls:
Pitch: Drive Forward/Reverse
Roll: Steer Left/Right
LaunchCountermeasures: Launch emergency signal flare (30 in total)
AG8: Anti-Flip Gyro (Use this to flip back onto your wheels in case of a rollover, or to prevent flipping at all)
Additional Notes:
This vehicle was originally built for expeditions with the multiplayer mod.
This vehicle is heavily inspired by the Bucker Mud Dog from Snowrunner mods.
When accelerating, you may notice the engine gets weaker as the vehicle's speed increases. This is due to the 5-Speed automatic gearbox encoded into the engine. (Reverse is also significantly slower than forward)
The suspension has some of its collisions removed to prevent the center wheels from jamming under the main carbody.
There is a fully modelled interior, complete with crates, fuel containers, tools, a first aid kit, and even a rescue board.
has great articulation
