The Overseas Deployment Requirement variant of the Ocelot received uprated engines, a basic self defense system and a standard 7.62 mm FM-3 MicroGun, along with new radios for employment in AFAC, Observation and Artillery Spotting duties. Nominally asigned to the Pacifican Air Force, most were flown by Federal Navy Flight TiltRotor Instructors or FN Air Reserve pilots under cover identities.
