@YuukaNeko I see your point, and I agree with you to an extent. But most of the time I've seen active members create an alt foe nefarious reasons. If a user wishes to remain anonymous he can simply refuse to acknowledge questions regarding to or attempting to reveal their identity. But there's a big difference between doing that and straight up lying when someone figures it out. You can refuse to answer instead of lie.

@TheLatentImage Usually the whole point of making an account is to post some new, fresh stuff, without being associated! Not telling people your original account is NOT akin to lying. What's the advantage of forcing people to reveal their original identities, it kinda gets rid of the whole point, right?

@YuukaNeko I'm all for people having second accounts if they wish. But I'm not ok with people having a second account and lying to and manipulating members of the community. I'm a big proponent of honesty.
