I have an idea for something I want to build but it requires XML Editing. I've looked at modding notes on both the website and the reddit but the instructions weren't very clear. I have Notepad++ v6.9.1, Simpleplanes on Steam and Windows 10. Please help!
@TinyToucan No problem and happy XML modding!
Thanks @Brields95 and @xenopath! I've found it!
@TinyToucan It's hidden. Use the search bar and type in Jundroo.
@Brields95 I can get to Users[my profile] but there is no such thing as appdata\locallow\jundroo\simpelplanes\subassemblies or \aircraftdesigns. I am not sure why. And yes I actually used my profile name.
@TinyToucan Click my computer. If your using windows 10 click on the folder at bottom left.
@Brields95 where do I find 'Computer>C>Users>your profile>app data>local low>Jundroo>Simpleplanes>subassemblies'? How do I get to it?
@Brields95 Actually you can. You go into Aircraftdesigns instead of subassemblies and open up the xml file of the plane you want to mod and you can edit the code from there. But you can't build a whole new aircraft from just xml coding
Computer>C>Users>your profile>app data>local low>Jundroo>Simpleplanes>subassemblies. You can't xml whole aircraft. You have to pull the part you wish 5o mod, aND create a subassembly.
