Designed by the KAD in late 2041 to act as an escort fighter/attacker to be attached with the A-12s, the A-13 would serve as the backbone for the Kyorin Foundation as well as nations within the SMR who were not so keen to purchase from the Mohorksans shortly after the outbreak of the Mohorksan-Hunds war early 2041.

Though the A-13 lacks a radar and countermeasure it is armed with 6x powerful .50 cal (12.7mm) APMG, each with a fire rate of 780/m. It also possesses a rear gun armed with a single 7.62mm LMG firing at 900/m. The A-13 has 5x hardpoints (1x centerline wet pylon, 4x Outer weapon pylons (2x per wing), the total payload limit is +2500kg (5520lbs). The aircraft is capable of carrying and using drop tanks, bombs (250, 500, 1000), rockets, torpedoes, and countermeasure pods.
