A large patrol vessel/low grade ice breaker designed to enforce Canadian sovereignty in arctic regions as well as being well suited to combat piracy and smuggling. The main advantage of this design are two large modular mission bays. These bays can be used for additional weapons systems, cargo transportation, troop transportation, SAR, and even transportation of a LAV-47.
