Quicksilver Sprint 250 (last fix I promise)
Sorry for posting this plane a third time. I just had to fix a few things I overlooked. But I deleted the other posts so hopefully no one gets irritated. If you upvoted one of the previous two builds; thank you. And please don’t think that I’m trying to get you to upvote again...
I built this plane from one pixelated photo, so it is by no means a replica. The Quicksilver Sprint 250. Lands on water as well as land. Top speed: 90 mph. Stall speed: 20 mph.
Flight controls are standard.
No Ag controls.
In order to make this craft steerable in the water, I made the rudder extremely aggressive. So take care when using it in flight, as you can easily put it into a tailspin and tumble out of the sky. Other than that, it is a very fun, easy, and peaceful plane to fly.
This plane is so small and easy to fly that on my first try I was able to fly through that small tunnel with a turn that turns into a jump underneath the tallest big jump. Without hitting any walls. And if I can do it, I know you guys can too. So do me a favor and give it a try! :)
Credit to @BogdanX for the control stick.
Happy flying! :)

Hey man, idk if you still play this, but just to let you know, I made a little quirky version of this aircraft, if you want to check it out it's a successor to this!
Haha. Yeah it’s pretty slow @teidelmoo
Hardest Part on landing it on the vulcano is to get it up there
I’m not sure what you mean by that... @Kentheman
Mercury?
:) @Mustang51
Haha okay right on man, I’ll take that under advisement :) @GenericWhiteGuy
@Hyattorama that'd be cool.
Yeah you’re right they should be slanted the other way @Chancey21
Thanks for the info man! @Hyattorama
Airfoil is good @Hyattorama
The exhaust tubes need to slant the other way think about it @Hyattorama
How do you think the airfoil turned out on this one? Anything I need to improve? @Chancey21
Oops, I’m sorry man! I read your message, then deleted the post because I reposted. But then I deleted that post too and reposted again, and forgot to respond again so you’d have a chance to see it haha. To answer your question; yes, it is based on a real aircraft, though I didn’t find that much information about it. If you google image search “quicksilver sprint”, most of the images you’ll see will be a trike version, but you should see one or two photos of a plane that looks like this, on floaters. @Mustang51
Thanks man!! :) are you saying you’d like to see an ultralight/bush plane style plane that is weaponized? @GenericWhiteGuy
Thanks man! :) yeah, you’re right, it flies unrealistically well. I think I tend to build my planes that way cause I’m not all that great of a pilot. I guess also I like the idea that just about anybody could have fun flying my planes. But you have a good point, maybe I should try making them a little more realistic. Maybe it would help me hone my piloting skills more too, haha. @Chancey21
Like I said on the last upload, please tell me this is a real aircraft because it’s fantastic! If it isn’t, someone needs to make it
Flies well and can take a hard landing like no other. Would love to see you make a weaponized plane with this kind of style 🤷. Wonderful craft.
Haha right on man thanks :) @Treadmill103
@Treadmill103 thanks for the upvote man, and thanks for the earlier spotlight, I know that was a little crummy of me to repost the plane a second time. My fault for not taking my time and going over the build patiently before posting :/
