Consolidated PBY Catalina
MediocrePlanes presents: The PBY
This plane took quite a while to make, and is my first aircraft to have a decorative fuselage block "airfoil" main wing. VTOL slider moves the turret. Yes, it takes off from water, however, be careful when landing...
The Consolidated PBY Catalina, also known as the Canso in Canadian service, was an American flying boat, and later an amphibious aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s produced by Consolidated Aircraft. It was one of the most widely used seaplanes of World War II. Catalinas served with every branch of the United States Armed Forces and in the air forces and navies of many other nations. During World War II, PBYs were used in anti-submarine warfare, patrol bombing, convoy escorts, search and rescue missions (especially air-sea rescue), and cargo transport. The PBY was the most numerous aircraft of its kind and the last active military PBYs were not retired from service until the 1980s. In 2014, nearly 80 years after its first flight, the aircraft continues to fly as a waterbomber (or airtanker) in aerial firefighting operations all over the world. (Source Wikipedia)

@MediocrePlanes I love it how somebody chose to copy this plane and not realize you're a Moderator.
It only carried 2 torps, 4 250-pounders, or 4 500 pounders
@MediocrePlanes :D
@TheChosenZebra You will get Blenheim wings
I had a look at your better aircraft do i get a cookie? :3
Great work man!
@MediocrePlanes I could barley see the glass, if you make the glass a bit more green and darker, it's easier to see and looks really nice... But that's my opinion, you are free to you're own opinion!
@bjac0
Why? The skywhale is blue, and so is glass...
can I make a version where the glass is easier to see?
@RailfanEthan @bjac0 Mobile is up:
