M.Corp MP-1 Bandit

Auto Credit Based on Dimkal's Maritime Patrol Aircraft Challenge [CLOSED]

M.Corp MP-1 Bandit is a maritime patrol aircraft of the M.Corp Air Force. It was converted from a short-haul airliner M.Corp Swift.

Design:

M.Corp Bandit is a low-wing jet with tail-mounted engines. It is equipped with 25 sonobuoys, surface scanning radar, and MAD probe in the tail boom. It also contains additional instruments in wingtip pods. Multi-purpose camera observation pod is mounted under the nose off-center to the right.

Features:

  • Sleek design;
  • Realistic performance;
  • Details. Not too many, but still, details;
  • Nice simple wing. If you don't know how to make wings with custom control surfaces, take these apart;
  • A lot of XML edited parts iOS users can pluck.

Controls:

  • Standard flight controls.

Notes:

  • This build would probably never have been finished if not for Dimkal's challenge. I have started applying better wing and cockpit/nose techniques, to be showcased on a plane I'm building now.

Enjoy

    @Bdidi no. I have rushed this build. Next plane will have it (if it's a plane that kinda looks like An-72. I'm not sure which one I'm going to upload next).

    @Tengam for sonobuoys I couldn't install due to the lack of activation groups.

    A quick question: what are the 24 arranged holes on the underside of the fuselage for?

    @Chancey21 this bird was an inch of getting scrapped, as I have already made a much better plane. I just wanted to kick it onto the site so it doesn't go to waste. And because I don't want to convert that better plane into maritime patrol aircraft with ugly radomes and MAD probe poles. This is, in my opinion, how a low gold player should build.

    Looks good, you should have used a more bright colored designer, it blends in to this one too much
    Also: details are good but I few more little inlet panels would be nice
    Also the first screenshot is not great, you can’t see the awesome wing or the siding, I would change the FOV to maybe 30 and take it higher up looking down

    @Dllama4 sure you can. Just not on the first try. It took me two years and around fifty scrapped attempts.
