The Maresal (Romanian pronunciation: [mare'?al]), also known as the M-tank, was a light tank destroyer produced during World War II by the Kingdom of Romania. The vehicle is credited for having inspired the German Hetzer tank destroyer, which was stated by German Lieutenant-Colonel Ventz.
