Maybe but the blueprints (i know its not always exact) say that its fine so idk@CalebRepublic
looks awesome!! its a lot of un necessary looking blocks on it but it sure looks like you put in a crap ton of effort for this!! I love it! great job!
@KUBI I think that it needs to be a little bit longer
Looks really good btw but tail could be simplified and shaped better as well as the body. A way for this is to not do it exactly to the blueprints. It just gets complicated. So on the bottom section near the tail you don’t need the lose extra parts delete them and use one fuselage part to get very close to the blueprint but you don’t have to be exact. Saving parts is what to do. Happy building!👍🏻
Use custom colors don’t use default color mode it screws everything up. Another color tip: use the federal standard colors on this and convert to hexadecimal then paste it into SimplePlanes color editor
@KUBI I have to say I’ve never built an SP one that I felt was upload worthy but overall I do know a fair few things about the 51 hahaha
Happy to see a mustang „expert“ thinking it looks good. XD @Mustang51
This is a really excellent start! I’m incredibly excited to see the finished result (you can probably tell I’m a mustang enthusiast from my name hahaha)
Ha ha something not to worry about! @KUBI
Thx for the tipps. Btw whats a trivialpoint ?
And like i said it was very challenging for me to even build this pile of ehm parts because i dont have a lot experience. But i might try to redo it at some point
@Tang0five
I like your attention to detail and the proportions are there. Can’t believe your bronze! Is the tail finished, I think it could be more part efficient with smoother lines which can be achieved by using different parts like intakes - maybe a trivial point and I’m sure you’ll pick these things up quickly! Have a look at how the pros make tails sections. I made a “Mossie” a while back and think that’s the closest I’ve got to doing a good job of a tail plane - it’s by no means the best but it may give you an idea how to get clean(er) lines.
Nice!
Btw i know that the vertical stabilizer is kinda wonky but its the best i could do lol
@KUBI I just tried it and....it looks good!
You’re completely right by saying that there are a lot of p51 XD . But i just like the plane and im using this build to learn building with blueprints as ive never done it before@Tang0five
P.s it’s looking good!
Honestly. I think oh another P-51....... with that said I guess If you want upvotes a ‘51 is the way to go.
