The F-14A Tomcat has become one of the most iconic aircraft in history, thanks to its striking design, featuring variable geometry wings, and its appearances in pop-culture. Designed for fleet air defense, its design prioritizes high speed, loiter time, and weapons range, enabled by the AN/AWG-9 radar and AIM-54 Phoenix missile. Despite its reputation, the F-14A was held back by its TF30 engines, which had reliability issues and relatively low thrust.
The F-14 served exclusively with the US Navy and Iranian Air Force. However, in 2006, the Tomcat was retired from US Navy service and nearly all airframes were dismantled or gutted of their internal systems to prevent Iran from obtaining spare parts. Read more...

Author’s Notes
- Controls included in craft instructions.
- The AIM-54C has a long range (65km) and speed (1715 m/s, ~mach 5), but will accelerate to it’s maximum speed until the very end of its range; thus, it is best used at ranges above 30 km.

It helps you get that sort of egg-looking cross section and also helps with how the bottom section of the F-14 fuselage flattens off as it goes backwards
genuinely curious whether you used two fuselages for the nose

I was pressing AG4 before AG5 in my final check, which explains it
I copied and pasted a sparrow pylon as a subassembly and the problem must've carried over
@ReinMcDeer Ok so on the F14A it only happens on the default loadout when pressing AG5. On the B however, it happens in both bomb loadouts and the default one (on the dumb bombs loadout both sparrows detach actually). Seems like anything with a sparrow specifically on the left side of the shoulder pylon gets detached since the phoenix for example doesn't.

@ReinMcDeer I had the same problem with the left sparrow dropping with tanks. from what I've found the decoupler on the sparrow (not the one in the pilon) has its activation on 5 when it should be Disabled, its a quick fix. Its also like that on the B variant.
@3bdo When I press AG4/5, it seems to work properly
How did you get the Sparrow to go with the tanks?
@Rjenteissussy I'd probably use the clean one since it's the least parts
I think you could also modify it by removing the gear bay doors to really cut down on the parts for MP
