XM-12B FIGHTER JET
The XM-12B is an aircraft based off of the XM-12, a V/STOL, carrier capable, semi-gyroscopically operated, multirole fighter jet, designed for both air superiority and ground attack missions. The XM-12 is jointly developed by the Wright Isles Aerial Defense Corps. (WIADC), and the Krakabloan Air Force (KAF). This aircraft's development started during an economic crash that had occored a year and a half before production on a separate planet. The Wright Isles guessed that it would be a while before they recovered from the crash, as many people had large shares there, and needed a multirole fighter which would last for at least 30 years, with little to no upgrades. They held a contest for multiple plane manufacturers there, saying one would get funding from the government to produce at least 402 planes. The winner of the competition was the PAGF-12, built by the Wright Aerospace Corporation, a privately owned company that uniquely produces aircraft only on request. The XM-12 turned out to be a massive success and is still used today, by the WIADC and KAF. Later, for reasons known not but to themselves, the WIADC made a version that flew normally, the XM-12B. They outfitted it with a normal jet engine, ditching the V/STOL capable engine, and slightly changing the loadout. Most notably, adding a more powerful cannon, nicknamed the "Lead Venom".
AG's 3, 6, 7, and 8 are drop payload, gyroscope, landing lights, and nav lights respectively.
