WM-11 Wayfarer
The Wayfarer was a more conservative design than the Pathfinder, to be sure. It was conceived at a time when airships seemed to be the way of the future, however by the time it was finished, the flaws of using giant explosive balloons for lift became apparent. It would become the first big failure of the Wessier-Macmillan design bureau, but it certainly wouldn't be the last.
Notes: Another monster. I couldn't figure out a more thematic solution to the issue of landing gear, so if anybody has any ideas, please let me know so I can implement them in an update. Used the same fuselage as the Pathfinder for this. Activate regular engines with AG-3. I reused some of my old engines for this, so there's a super charger hidden somewhere in there. On a ship this massive, it won't provide much of a boost, but it'll still eat all your fuel, so I wouldn't bother using it. In case you decide to, it's toggled with AG-4. Bomb bay doors are AG-2

Ah, like extending skids? I might be able to get that working provided it's not in the way of the bomb bays... Or maybe I'll remove the bombs and replace them with the skids. Thanks!
try using rotators, some long fuselage blocks and hemispheres for the landing gear
