Desing History

The F-82 is a heavy fighter/interceptor aircraft developed in collaboration with Republic Armament Systems and Estarian Continental University.

The F-82 was the most successful of the prototypes developed within the scope of the FFX (Future Fighter X) Program. The FFX Program was launched secretly from the public in 2017 and continued secretly until mid-2024.

The Estar Government and ERIS took significant precautions against HMIA (His/Her Majesty's Intelligence Agency) infiltration operations, so the project was carried out in complete secrecy for years.

It was learned that the information about the F-82's AESA radar and Flight Control System of the 3 suspects, who were arrested on suspicion of espionage in the comprehensive counter-espionage operation (Operation Knightfall) carried out by ERIS in 2023, was leaked to the Kingdom of Atrassia.

Thereupon, many high-ranking people from the team working on the project and some unnamed government institutions were arrested.

Despite all these scandals, the F-82 project could be completed, but many senior officials in the government were hesitant or unwilling to put F-82s into service.

F-82s are expected to replace F-61EXs towards the end of 2024
