Development History

Made in 1958, the FG-12 Tigereye was made to answer the new air superiority fighter tender. It needs to reach supersonic,have a radar powerful enough to detect aircraft in range up to 20km,an all weather capable,and maneouverbility good enough to combat other fighters.

The FG-12 was fitted with 2×20mm cannons,it was also fitted with 2×Grey Ghost mk.2 heat seeking missile. The missile itself was an upgrade to the old Grey Ghost missile fitted on the late Cougar. It was also fitted with new M-2 Radar, a more powerful and bigger radar then the S-102 Dow. a single engine was fitted to powered the aircraft, giving it's top speed at around mach 1.5 at 20k feet.

History

The FG-12 Tigereye has a long history with Malei. Being it's main fighter in the 60s and was retired in 1990s. Over 1000 units was produced and some were still functional till this day.
