BP-01 Buckingham
The BP-01 Kamikaze was a high speed civilian jet designed to fire across oceans at supersonic speeds for civilian use. Drawing from the bleeder program, the aircraft set out to fix its 2 flaws, high stall speed & tendency to pitch down. With these completed, the aircraft hit the market on September 10th 2001 under the name "Kamikaze". Consequently there has been multiple accusations that BP knew of the infamous events that occurred the next day. Although discontinued 2 days later, the aircraft returned to the market 10 years later under the name "Buckingham", albeit still with the same designation. The aircraft, however, still has a hard time shaking off its rocky initial release, with only 6 Kamikaze's still in existence. However the aircraft has proven to be very popular, with at least 100 being sold. Prices start at £300'000 (go get a conversion calculator).
