The Boeing 767 is a mid to large, long-range, wide body twin engine jet aircraft developed by Boeing in the United States to compete with the Airbus A300 and A310. On April 15, 2002, China International Airlines flight CA129 (Boeing 767-200ER registration number B-2552), which was 27 years old at the time of the accident and delivered to China Civil Aviation in 1985, crashed into a mountain and was scrapped during landing at Beijing Capital International Airport Busan Airport in South Korea

After investigation, the cause of the CA129 flight accident was a controlled flight collision with the ground.
