being767
The Boeing 767 is a mid to large, long-range, wide body twin engine jet aircraft developed by Boeing in the United States to compete with the Airbus A300 and A310. It is Boeing's first aircraft with a two passenger glass cockpit. The cockpit design of the Boeing 757 and 767 is also the same, making it easy for the crew and maintenance personnel to master both types of aircraft simultaneously. The 767 and 757 were the first Boeing commercial aircraft to use a two person cockpit, and also the first Boeing aircraft to adopt electronic flight instruments. The first model of 767 was the -200 model, followed by the production of the longer -300 model. There are also 400 models for planned abortion, as well as long-distance dedicated -200ER, -300ER, and -400ER.

air china129
On April 15, 2002, China International Airlines flight CA129 (Boeing 767-200ER registration number B-2552), which was 27 years old at the time of the accident and delivered to China Civil Aviation in 1985, crashed into a mountain and was scrapped during landing at Beijing Capital International Airport Busan Airport in South Korea
The aircraft carried 155 passengers and 11 crew members, totaling 166 people. Among them, 129 people died, and Captain Wu Xinlu survived
After investigation, the cause of the CA129 flight accident was a controlled flight collision with the ground. Captain Wu Xinlu had improper communication with the co pilot and other flight crew members, resulting in extremely low visibility. Air traffic control personnel mistakenly identified the 767-200ER (long-range semi wide body twin engine aircraft) as the B737-800 (medium to short range narrow body twin engine aircraft), leading to incorrect guidance. The crew members did not pay attention to the altitude carefully, GPWS was not updated, and the conversion frequency was unclear, resulting in a transition from three sides to five sides. The crew members and air traffic control are primarily responsible (there is controversy, details can be found in the CAAC air crash report)
