(fictional) The TH-98 (torjuntahävittäjä-1998) was a finnish experiental interceptor. It was designed in 1998 by Pekka Jaakkonen and Jere Kallio to replace the f-18 hornet used by the finnish airforce. One prototype was built and tested but it turned out to be inferior to the f-18 and twice as expensive so the production was scrapped, it also tipped over on landing, what made the plane go into a wild spin that teared the plane apart, pilot had few broken bones but still survived. Nowdays the remains of the plane is in a museum located in Helsinki next to a replica of itself.
